Leave junction 36 and follow the signs for Windermere. After about 2½ miles turn left onto the A590 signposted Barrow-in-Furness. The dual carriageway turns into an ordinary road then back to dual carriageway. As it turns back to dual carriageway go into the right hand lane and turn right (signposted Witherslack / Bowland Bridge). Immediately off the dual carriageway you will cross a cattle grid and we are on the left. If you get to the Derby Arms you've gone too far so turn around and come back and we are on the right just before the cattle grid. If you miss the turning when it turns back to dual carriageway keep going to the roundabout. Go round the roundabout and come back along the dual carriageway and our turning is the 1st on the left past the garage.

Situated in an unspoilt corner of the Lake District National Park it is just off the A590 and 8 minutes from the M6. The location is ideal for stop-overs and small informal meetings. The houseboats are moored at our private jetties that are adjacent to the apartments and have panoramic views of Lake Windermere and the fells beyond.
The light airy cabins offer spacious accommodation with safe flat single level floors and decks. The main saloon is equipped with TV, video and CD player. Patio doors open to the lower well furnished covered foredeck leading to the upper sundeck.
